Somerset & North Devon Coast 1998
A woman walking an Aylesbury duck on Glastonbury Tor set the tone for a tour of unexpected delights from the Somerset Levels to the wild North Devon coast. Morris the myna chattered in Watchet before Cloutsham Ford delivered a jubilant splash. Then the cliff railway whisked us to Lynmouth after a high traverse to Highveer Point. We ended with a wistful farewell to Instow youth hostel.
