Lawrence had promised to be out today but when we called for him he had been booked to cover for someone at work, so we had to make the best of riding with him only as far as Dart Bridge. Will had to be back for 12.45 so we chose a route that took us up Green Lane and along the short route to Broadhempston.

We bought refreshments in the community shop and ate them in the park. Here we were surprised to see that a new village hall had grown up in the land adjacent to the park since our last visit. It is due to open before Christmas and the villagers are really quite excited about it.

We returned via Staverton and Caddaford for 1pm.
