[The cycle ride this evening was the best for a long time, because Tao and Keir turned up, and Ryan came on the ride as well. There were 8 of us, and we did an adventurous ride through Tigley and Totnes and back along the track and Colston Road. Afterwards Michael played Tao at TA.]

[Plans changed during the day. We left at 5.45 in the car and arrived at Golant just in time for supper at 7pm. We played football and Frisbee and Pool. We were all exhausted at 10.15 so we all went to bed.]

[Was supposed to be Maypool, but we changed it to Golant and drove down late so that Ryan could join us. PLayed football and frisbee and pool, then bed fairly early, Neil snored.]

[The day started bright and sunny, with Frisbee on the lawn. Dayle joined us at 9.10, and after a while we set off for St Austell market (to get me a baseball cap and Neil some shorts – we had both forgotten these items!) then Mevagissey fishing village for fudge and café, then Asda at St Austell for cash and lunch and milk, then Bodmin for the Camel trail, where we unpacked the bikes. It was a good ride, with a stop at Padstow for pasties. Neil was saddle sore on the return route. Home by 5.45.]

[Morning was sunny, Dayle arrived 9.10, more frisbee, then car to St Austell market to get Neil's shorts (he forgot his), then car to Mevagissey for fudge and cafe, then Asda at St Austell for cash, milk and lunch .. then Bodmin, unload bikes, ride cycle path to Padstow, bought pasties including Apple, rhubarb and custard .. then back again, Neil saddle sore, depart 4.41, rain, home 5.45. Good weekend.]

[saw Scott and co at the start, they tried to follow us, but then broke off to do Kings Wood .. drizzle started, so went straight home from Combe.

[Perfect weather - sunny, not too hot, light breeze on the moor. Up via Holne and Venford, right down to end of track, had unch there in a large sheltered hole, beautiful area, skylarks everywhere, spent more than an hour there, back to Princetown for drinks, then Postbridge for pasties and drinks, then straight through to Poundsgate and home by 5pm - met 23-year-old merchant navy engineer with a puncture, fixed it for him.]
