This evening we tried out Ashley's new board game of Lord of the Rings. It took a little while to work out how to play it, but we soon got to grips with it and ended up narrowly defeating Sauron - which is of course the way it should always end!

Olly was showing off his new Trek mountain bike today as we set off up Dean hill for South Brent. We took the track route from Marley Head, which wasn't too muddy today for a change, then called in to Plymco for some refreshments. Nobody seemed to want a ride extension today so we headed home via Rattery.

Everyone wanted a cinema trip this evening and the best film we could come up with was "Yes Man" starring Jim Carey. It proved sufficiently entertaining to give us all an enjoyable evening out.

We booked this evening's badminton session at Coombeshead School, Newton Abbot for the first time and were quite impressed with the facilities. Everyone was proficient at the game so we had some excellent matches.
