At St Anne's Chapel an eight-year-old showed off his new bike as Luke bought milk from the shop. Tidal road to Avon Mill Café at Loddiswell, then returned via Woodleigh, Moreleigh, Diptford and Rattery. Ryan slow on return journey owing to sore throat and eventually had to be collected from Totnes to Avonwich road. The others got hungry so late return at 6.35.]

[Michael late because Romany bike had buckled wheel, so collected Neil's bike from Dartbridge Inn by car. Green Lane, track to Abham. Gavin puncture, no-one had a pump so asked at nearby house which happened to be a cycling family. She gave drinks all round. Finally left at 7.55. Landscove play park closed, Buckfastleigh by 8.45. Perfect weather.]
