[15:50 Ashburton, 16:30 Chudleigh Bridge. Arrived at hostel 6.30. Interesting evening playing games in common room, including African game. Hot overnight in dormitory.]

[Woodland path too muddy so morning coffee at Moretonhampstead, lunch at Fernworthy Reservoir in thick wet mist. Afternoon tea at the Green Restaurant Widecombe. Home via Bonehill and Ashburton by 5.15. Damp misty drizzle on high ground.]

[Rain started at Ashburton, took shelter by some roadside trees, played in the Belford Mill woods until rain stopped, then returned by Druid and Peartree.]

[Beautiful sunny afternoon, despite earlier thunderstorm. Spent 20 minutes playing Frisbee at the Play Park in Broadhempston then rode to Landscove café - some took Beason track. Lots of playing in the café gardens. Home by 5.25. Very enjoyable ride.]

[Sean went home with a flat tyre. Dean Prior, Nurston, Skerraton Down where light drizzle and moorlands runners. Danny came off on descent from Cross Furzes but was not seriously hurt.]

[Andrew did very well for first main club ride. Dry and cold but quite cloudy until we got to the the Dam when a beautiful red sun came out for us, reflecting off the dam. Reservoir full. Everyone enjoyed the ride immensely.]

[Some cloud but otherwise very warm and sunny. Luke a little slow on outward journey. 10.50 South Brent, 11.00 Avonwick. Michael left sunglasses on wall at Avonwick pick-up point by mistake and picked them up on the way home. Spent 1½ hours on Bantham Sands. Stopped at Loddiswell café (Avon Mill Garden Centre) and returned via Diptford and Avonwick.]

[Matthew went home at the start. Usual Ten Tors route. Ryan shot down Bone Hill by mistake - Michale had to go right to the bottom to find him. Widecombe café, then finished with Blackadon Tor near Luke's house (Leusdon).]

[Slow progress through Buckfast to Cross Furzes but pressed on to the moor. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset and Frisbee throwing. Fixed Lee's puncture at Scoriton and arrived home much later than planned at 9.20. The two unknown riders were a father and his 9-year-old son who had a heart problem - sorry we didn't note their names.]
