[Michael went by car at the last minute owing to fractured rib from last week. Ryan still had back pain so he joined Michael in the car! Met Dave at Moreleigh. Rode straight to hostel by 6.15. Dave had a hostel supper, rest cooked their own food. Five of us enjoyed the usual long walk along the coast path to Starehole Bay in full moonlight - no glow worms tonight. Three did an extra excursion to Bolt Head.]

[Superb sunny morning. Enjoyed a walk in the tropical gardens around the hostel. Dave persuaded us to hire a motor boat at Salcombe for an hour for £25 - very enjoyable for everyone. Usual route home - Slapton, Strete and Tuckenhay, arriving 5.15.]
